Course content
The student attends 5 lessons of his/her approbation subject (M), applies knowledge and basic skills acquired in theoretical subjects. Each lesson is accompanied by an analysis with the trainee teacher. The course of the practice is reflected in a fourfold manner: 1) individual completion of the hospitalization record, 2) an analysis of the lessons with the trainee teacher, also with reference to the issues of teacher preparation for teaching and the school agenda, 3) by direct analysis of the lessons with the subject didactician, 4) a final group analysis of the whole listening practice in the KMT/DIZ1 course and a discussion with the teacher about the possibilities of using the acquired knowledge in further studies. In the structured form for the listening practice, the students specify the character of the visited classroom, define the objectives of the lesson, including educational ones, record its phases and organisation, evaluate the effectiveness of individual activities, teaching methods and forms of work, observe the use of teaching aids and didactic means in the lesson and reflect on the personality of the teacher and the pupil in the lesson, the teacher-pupil relationship and the classroom climate. The aim of the visits is also to prepare for the following two types of pedagogical practice. The completed hours of listening practice will be confronted with examples of virtual hospitalizations in theoretical disciplinary subjects as well as in disciplinary didactics and educational psychology subjects (General Didactics, Educational Psychology A, Reflection and Evaluation of Teaching).
