Course content
1. Introduction to comparative grammar 2. Influence of German spelling reform 3. Trends in the German language at all levels of linguistics 4. Trends in vocabulary 5. Trends in word formation 6. Trends in selected parts of speech 7. Trends in syntax 8. Trends in spelling 9. Application of comparative grammar in foreign language teaching 10. Interference at morphological level 11. Interference at syntactic level 12. Interference at the level of vocabulary, phonetics and spelling.
