Course content
1. Definition of didactics and methodology of foreign language teaching. Principles of early foreign language teaching and the personality of the foreign language teacher at the first stage of primary school. 2. Objectives, content and methods of foreign language teaching. 3. Functions of evaluation/auto-evaluation in education, systematic control of effectiveness. Basic evaluation techniques/methods leading to increase of teaching effectiveness. We evaluate the quality of teaching by assessing the integrity of teaching (functional consistency between content, objective and learning tasks = implementation of the curriculum). 4. Language skills and their interrelationship, methods of training. 5. Evaluation of the concept of the curriculum in textbooks, micro-outcomes (preparation and presentation of own didactic materials, their joint evaluation.) 6. Grammatical construction of speech (Grammatikvermittlung). 7. Evaluation of the conception of the curriculum in textbooks, micro-outcomes (preparation and presentation of own didactic materials, their joint evaluation). 8. Phonological and graphological system (Aussprachetraining). 9. Vocabulary (Wortschatzvermittlung). 10. Evaluation of the conception of the curriculum in textbooks, micro-outcomes (preparation and presentation of own didactic materials, their joint evaluation). 11. Evaluation of the course, final colloquium, exchange of practical experience.
