Course content
CONTENTS: 1. Familiarization with the terminology and methodology of Germanistics 2. Stratification of the current German 3. German in Austria 4. German in Switzerland 5. Situation of selected linguistic minorities 6. Structuralist conception of language 7. Language typology and genealogy 8. Introduction to linguistic disciplines 9. Phonetics and Phonology 10. Morphology, lexicology and lexicography 11. Traditional and modern, semantic-oriented syntax 12. Stylistics
