Tutorials syllabi: - Introduction to the issues of pedagogy. - Medical practice - the role of a nurse in education. - Technical means of education, preparing education topics and plans. - Educational methods and their application in nursing care; children, adults. - Education training - analysis - divided into two sessions. - Tutor-student discussion concerning explained topics and students work - recommendations, error identification.

The students understand the new, extended role of nurses in the area of education of clients/patients and their relatives. They make sense of the relation between the education of clients and their treatment. On the basis of these facts, they are capable of applying their theoretical knowledge of methodology within their patient educational activities. They acquire knowledge of various educational methods and their utilization in the field of medical care. They acquire skills necessary for the creation and implementation of an educational programme. They are capable of evaluating the results of their own educational activities. |
