Course content
|
Content of lectures: The concept of communication, structure, importance of communication in healthcare. Types of communication, forms of non-verbal communication, communication disorders, the importance of nonverbal communication when dealing with the patient, communication barriers. General rules in dealing with people, mistakes of social perception. Verbal communication, rhetoric, speech culture. Evalvace, devaluation, empathy, altruism. Observation and interview, types, phases, prerequisites for successful conversation, mistakes in interview, listening - passive, active (methods). Assertiveness assertive rights, techniques, methods. Excessive life situations, communication with people in a difficult life situation, non-adaptive behavior. Communication with a problem patient. Communication with a handicapped person. Problem burn-out / burnout syndrome / relaxation techniques. Content of the exercise: Self-recognition, self-acceptance, self-presentation Social perceptions Socio-psychological training Nonverbal Communication Interview, questioning technique, mirroring, summarizing, silence Rhetoric, Output, Presentation Developing empathy Practice of assertive behavior Practice effective communication during different training situations skills training for coping with conflict and stress situations Solving model situations Communication with a client of different age, health Communication with relatives Multicultural communication Communicating with your doctor. Crisis intervention.
