Course content
|
Syllabus of lectures: Respiratory infections including tuberculosis, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, fibrotic disease, lung tumors, pleural diseases. Conditions with respiratory insufficiency, with pulmonary hypertension; pulmonary symptoms in out-of-hospital illnesses. Nursing process in patients with respiratory diseases (inhalation therapy, oxygen therapy). Fundamentals of thoracic surgery, surgery team, risks and complications of performances, lung transplantation, thoracic drainage care. Unexplained conditions in pneumology, sleep disturbances, sleep apnea syndrome. Syllabus of exercises: Rating, breath measurement Application of oxygen therapy Nursing process in the collection of biological material Pulmonary rehabilitation - role of nurse, education Inhalation treatment - role of nurse, education Patient preparation for bronchoscopy, informed consent, during and after endoscopic examination Care for patients after a thoracic surgery Barrier Nursing Care Nursing diagnosis, nursing process in patients with respiratory diseases
