Course content
|
Classification of newborns. Risk and pathological newborn. Nursing care of premature newborns. Nursing care of newborns with congenital defects / heart, cleft, orthopedic /. Nursing care of the newborn metabolic and gastrointestinal tract. The role of midwives in resuscitation of the newborn. Nursing care of newborns in intensive care and resuscitation. Communication with parents, babies, parenting support contact. Introduction to Pediatrics - an organization of pediatric care in the country. The growth and development of the child. The basis of physical examination of children. Meeting the needs of children. Sanitation, emptying nutrition. The importance of children's play, appropriate physical activity. Childcare in sickness and in hospitalization.
