Course content
|
Venues of internship: Facilities of preventive medicine, social service facilities, offices oriented at social issues, asylum homes, children?s homes, hospices - Acquainting with organization structure and management of a selected unit, with its aims, target groups, connections to networks of similarly oriented institutions in given region, position of the unit within the social administration system and relations to not-for-profit organisations and other subjects, relations to funding resources - Thorough knowledge of applicable regulations - Acquainting with particular procedures and techniques applied in work in given organization - Acquainting with documentation kept at given unit - Becoming involved in a team, cooperation in fulfilling tasks, independent fulfilling administrative and organizational tasks. - Theoretical knowledge application and verification in practice - Broadening elementary communicative skills - Learning to acquire and pass specific information, to prepare reports, to collect data and resource materials, to study literature for the purpose of future professional development. Problem identification in the object field, suggesting solutions by relevant experts and taking a stand concerning suggested measures
