Prcticals 1. Importance and usage of ultrasound in obstetrics. 2. Indications, possibilities of use, and limitations of examination. 3. Interpretation of ultrasound images, practical sessions in a healthcare establishment. 4. Preparation of a pregnant women for the screening. 5. Ultrasound screening in the first trimester of pregnancy. 6. Congenital defects recognizable in the first trimester. 7. Ultrasound screening in the second and the third trimesters. 8. Congenital development defects in general, developmental aberrations. 9. Finding out the position and presentation of a foetus, the age, proportional measurements and weight, vitality. 10. Visit to an ultrasound workplace: observing the examination, reading the examination results.
