Course content
1. Didactics of elementary school, its subject, objectives, methods and specifics in the historical and social context. 2. Concept of teaching, historical development of teaching concepts and current tendencies (constructivism, alternative didactic concepts, innovative programs) in primary education. 3. Changes in the curriculum of basic education, incl. curricular documents, educational content and standards in primary education. 4. Didactic transformation of the curriculum in primary education, conception of the subject in teaching, basic curriculum, integration of educational content, transdisciplinary overlap, curriculum, thematic plan, teaching texts and their evaluation and creation. 5. Didactic analysis of elementary school curriculum and teaching planning, teacher's concept of teaching and pupil. 6. Planning of teaching in primary education - formulation of goals in basic domains (cognitive, affective and psychomotor). 7. Planning of teaching in primary education - learning strategies (methods, organizational forms, teaching models, individualisation of teaching, common education). 8. Planning of teaching in primary education - activating learning strategies (research methods, integrated teaching, pupil-oriented learning, etc.). 9. Planning of teaching in primary education - ways of verifying learning outcomes, assessment tools, ways and forms of pupil assessment. 10. Planning of teaching in primary education - methods of verifying learning outcomes, creation and evaluation of didactic tests, pupil's portfolio. 11. Communication and interaction in teaching, authority in education, problem of discipline. 12. Pedagogical diagnostics of the pupil and its use in the planning and realization of teaching at primary school. 13. Teacher self-diagnosis, teacher as reflective practice, action research at teacher's job.

Select topics from RVP ZV, analyze selected educational areas. cross-cutting themes and competencies. It formulates precisely the goals and expected outcomes. Forms learning activities to meet educational goals. It is able to apply knowledge from pedagogy and general didactics to elementary school didactics.
