Course content
The course includes a wider paradigm of inclusive education and a welcoming social environment, and includes the following topics: Legislative determination in education of students with special educational needs (in national and international context). Characteristics of inclusive social environment and values in inclusive education (including current terminology). Historical view on development of approach to the pupils with special educationl needs. Creating optimal conditions for an inclusive education environment in a regular school. Inclusive school: quality assessment, school climate, cooperation with parents and the local community. A heterogeneous group of pupils as a preferred social form in education. Categories of special educational needs and their educational specifics. Support in the education of pupils with special educational needs. Didactic specifics in inclusive education.

to study and critically reflect a selected topic from the field of inclusion in education on the basis of the study of relevant literature
to reflect (In model situations) the benefits and pitfalls of implementing inclusive education in practice
