Course content
Lecture topics: 1. Definition of pedagogy as a modern social science, basic pedagogical category. 2. Subject of pedagogy, objectives, content and current trends. 3. Pedagogical disciplines and their importance for the contemporary concept of education and training. 4. The relation of pedagogy to other sciences, ot. transdisciplinarity. 5. Helping professions and their ethical dimension. 6. Education and education in the historical and philosophical context. 7. Education and education in current society changes. 8. Current problems of pedagogy and possibilities of their solution. 9. Changes in education and education in the contemporary world (digitization of education, inclusive education, crisis of values, families and schools, ethics a education). 10. Responsibility, Tradition, and Dialogue Education as an Intergenerational Encounter. 11. The importance of pedagogy for assisting professions.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 30 hours per semester
  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 30 hours per semester
