Course content

1. Social and natural sciences, their importance, anchoring in RVP PV 2. Methods of cognition in preschool age - observation, comparison, conversation, sorting, simple experiments. Research-oriented teaching. 3. Social sciences - Culture. Time, Continuity and Change. People, places and environments. Individual development and identity. Individuals, groups and institutions. Power, authority, rule and administration. Production, distribution and consumption. Science, technology and society. Global contexts. Civic ideals and practices 4. Natural sciences - biology, zoology, botany, geology, physics, chemistry, meteorology.
