Course content
Content of lectures: 1.-2. Definition of the subject, goals and contents of free time pedagogy as a scientific discipline. 3. - 4. Leisure time and its significance in the historiographical and contemporary context of society. Leisure institutions. 5. - 6. Leisure education and training, goals, functions, conditions and resources. 7. -8. Didactic cycle in leisure time education (goals, content, methods, forms, evaluation), incl. pedagogical-psychological aspects of experience pedagogy and its use in leisure time. 9. -10. The role of family and school in shaping the relationship to leisure time. 11. - 12. Current trends in leisure time education (leisure time: joint education, health education, prevention of risky behavior, etc.). 13. Problems and their prevention in leisure time education, incl. possibilities of intervention. Content of seminars: Seminars will be the practice of developing topics from lectures. At the seminars a team project of a leisure program for selected groups of children and youth will be implemented.
