Course content
1. Disturbed speech development and delayed speech development. 2. Specifically impaired speech development. 3. Disturbance of speech sound. 4. Oropfacial cleft defects and palatolalia. 5. Acquired neurotic speech - mutism. 6. Dysarthria. 7. Disruption of speech fluency - balbuties, tumultus sermonis. 8. Symptomatic speech defects. 9. Alternative and augmentative communication.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 10 hours per semester
  • Contact hours - 39 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 30 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 5 hours per semester
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 20 hours per semester

To list the causes and consequences of speech defects, and the diagnostics and prevention options
