1. Information about course content, mapping topical special pedagogy experience and competences of students 2. Defining basic terms and subject of Special Pedagogy, historical context and development of special and inclusive education 3. Concept of norms and normality 4. Child with a handicap, its personality and needs, teachers´ competences 5. Overview and classification of kinds of handicap 6. Etiological factors of the handicap, possibility of prevention, social context 7. Principles and methods of education of children with special educational needs 8. Consultation and discussion on credit works 9. Specific approach to handicapped children 10.Topical issues of Special Pedagogy and inclusive education (legislation, European and world trends, sociological and philosophical aspects of integration and inclusion) 11. Watching a video with handicapped child issue in pedagogical situations (analysis, discussion). 12. Prevention, diagnostics and therapy in Special Pedagogy 13. Opportunities for volunteering in the field of work with children with special educational needs (meetings with external professionals from non-profit organizations, etc.)
