7. Defining the subject of comparative education 8. Clarification of the central concepts of the field: education, school as an institution, school system, educational system 9. Knowledge
Basic overview of knowledge in social sciences at graduate level of secondary education is supposed. Basic orientation in pedagogic nomenclature, especially from areas common pedagogy.
learning outcomes
Students will focus on various approaches to learning, to understand the reasons for the emergence of alternative educational systems. They will be able to apply a comparative approach to education policy and practice of education (school system). They also will understand the reasons for differences in education systems of others countries.
