Course content
Students will work in groups to solve a demonstration project including a simulation of its complete life cycle. Their task will be to simulate the implementation of the complete project according to a given scenario. The lecturer, in the position of a coach, will help the students and, if necessary, introduce change requirements and risks into the simulation. During the lectures, students will learn about digital tools commonly used in project management in different project life stages. The lecture topics will be as follows: Product-oriented project planning Resource and time planning Communication management strategies and appropriate tools Change management strategies and appropriate tools Quality management strategies and appropriate tools Risk management strategy and appropriate tools Project controlling Contracts used in projects Handover of the product to the customer and termination of the project

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Team project (50/number of students) - 10 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 10 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 40 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 28 hours per semester
