Course content
1. Management - management processes and tools, management development. 2. Specifics of management in education. 3. Planning - school development plan, school concept and its consistency with the long-term goals of education at national and regional level. 4. Organizing processes in education at the level of the whole subject, class, group, individual approach. Delegation within the organisational structure of the school. 5. Staffing - qualification of teaching staff, lifelong learning system (DVPP). 6. Managing people - teacher evaluation processes (internal and external evaluation), welbeing in schools, school culture and climate. 7. Control - feedback. Tools for effective control - evaluation of the educational process. Criteria for qualitative and quantitative evaluation. 8. Basic legal norms in the field of education and training in the Czech Republic. 9. School Act No. 561/2004 Coll. and Act No. 563/2004 Coll. on pedagogical staff. 10. Basics of financial management of schools, main sources of funds, project activities of schools. 11. Marketing - basic principles of marketing, specifics of marketing of schools and school facilities, communication of the school with the public. 12. Education from the OECD and EU perspective and trends. 13. Evaluation and reflection on teaching.

Knowledge
- describe the basic legal norms in education and education in the Czech Republic
to clarify the main principles of curricular reform, curricular framework and school educational program and their implementation in school
- characterize school culture and school climate
- make a list of the principles of school communication with the public or communication within the school
- clarify the teaching process and school management, leadership in the school organization, and class management
Skills
- to set requirements for his / her adaptation plan and required DVPP - to clarify the basic points of a small school project and to propose a plan for co-operation of the school staff
