Course content
1. Subject and branches of psychology. 2. Psychological research and methods. 3. Determination of human psyche. 4. Categories describing psyche (consciousness, unconscious, behavior, experience) 5. Psychic processes, states,characteristics, contents and their characterization. 6. Sensory processes and Perception 7. Attention. Memory and Learning. 8. Creativity 9. Imagination and Fantasy. 10. Thinking and language 11. Thinking as a problem solving. 12. Motivation 13. Emotions and Feelings

Knowledge
Basic knowledge of terminology of general psychology and psychology of personality within the range of subject matter of secondary schools.
learning outcomes
A student will: - elimitate subject and methods of general psychology, - explain determination of human psyche, - characterize basic psychological theories, - analyze basic cognitive processes, - evaluate a problem solving process as a basic process of thinking.
