Course content

1. Meaning of mental hygiene, basic categories, methods of mental hygiene. 2. Mental health - definition of the term, general expectations of mental health, adaptation, maladaption. 3. Self-cognition and self-education, methods of self-cognition. 4. Stress as a risk factor which threatens mental balance and his manifestations. 5. Causes and consequences of stress. 6. Coping with acute and chronic stress. 7. Way of living in terms of mental hygiene. 8. Moving activity, sport, nutrition. 9. Daily routine, time management, sleep and relaxation. 10. Social aspects of mental hygiene. 11. Ontogenetic aspects of mental hygiene. 12. Hygiene of mental work. 13. Working environment in terms of mental health.
