Course content
1. Successful and unsuccessful communication 2. The concept of assertiveness, aggressive, passive and assertive behavior 3. Assertive rights 4. Assertive techniques 5. Possibilities of using assertive communication in different social situations 6. Specifics of assertive communication in the family 7. Assertiveness training, role playing 8. Specific problem solving situations 9. Dealing with difficult people 10. Manipulative behavior 11.Positive communication and mental health 12. Personal development plan of assertive behavior

Lecture supplemented with a discussion, Students' portfolio, Students' self-study, Practicum

- definovat proces sociální komunikace,
- vysvětlit jednotlivé složky komunikace,
- základní orientace v terminologii sociální psychologie.

- rozeznat chyby v komunikaci,
- navrhnout pravidla efektivní komunikace,
- pracovat ve skupině a prezentovat výsledky práce před skupinou.
