Lecture syllabus: 1) Subject of personality psychology, personality structure, personality disorders 2) Motivation, motivational patterns, classification of needs 3) Character, attitudes and their formation, self-regulatory properties 4) Temperament, temperament typology 5) Abilities, talents, intelligence 6) Frustration, deprivation 7) Stress, stress prevention and management 8) Subject of developmental psychology, basic developmental theories 9) Prenatal and neonatal period 10) Infant and toddler 11) Preschool and younger school age 12) Older school age and adolescence 13) Adulthood and old age Exercise syllabus: Working with selected personality questionnaires for the purpose of deeper self-knowledge Psychological interventions to reduce stress and increase mental well-being (e.g. positive psychology techniques, mindfulness) Presentation of student projects for the selected developmental period
