Course content
The course focuses on the basic knowledge and skills in working with hardware models of selected industrial engineering applications using event-driven programming, processing and storing data from hardware models. 1. Industry 4.0 and Smart manufacturing 2. The STEM concept and its applications 3. Physical models of manufacturing system - case studies 4. Simulation models and digital twins 5. Manufacturing system data acquisition, sensors and their applications 6. Actuators and their application for model control (in STEM concept) 7. Standard programming languages for model control 8. Visual programming languages for model control 9. Machine Learning using visual programming languages 10. Data in Smart Manufacturing 11. Decision-making algorithms in manufacturing control 12. Industry 5.0 concept, trends in manufacturing 13. Evaluation, complementation, feedback
