Course content
The course focuses on the acquisition of knowledge related to economics in the context of both industrial enterprise and technical activities relevant to industrial (especially engineering) enterprise. In this context, economic variables are mainly used in the course for the management of technical activities. Specific calculations in relation to the various areas covered are carried out in the exercises. 1. Industrial enterprise, its surroundings and its structure 2. Objectives of the industrial enterprise 3. Financing of the enterprise, financial statements 4. Revenues, costs and profit and loss 5. Management accounting, profit turning point 6. Production as the main activity of an industrial enterprise 7. Manufacturing inventories, management and optimization of manufacturing inventories 8. Production capacity and principles of its determination 9. Workforce, labour output, labour costs 10. Cost calculation 11. Cost Turning Points 12. Industrial product, its classification, product life cycle 13. Summary of the lecture, consultation
