Course content
1. Causes of interference. Interlingual and intralingual interference in the lexical domain (word-species and lexical homonymy). Interlingual interference in the lexical (Russian-Czech paronymy) and grammatical (gender of nouns) sphere; intralingual interference; 2. Interference in the field of nouns (inflection, formation, accent of nouns) and adjectives (more difficult phenomena in inflection compared to Czech, gradation, formation, spelling, etc.) 3. Polysemy and paronymy - adjectives etc.; phraseological paronymy. 4. Pronouns and interference. Indefinite pronouns in comparison with English; more difficult conjunctions, etc. Interference in vocabulary - the topic "school". Negative pronouns in the comparative Czech-Russian plan. 5. Interference in the expression of time relations and numerals. Basic, ordinal and collective numerals and their use in comparison with Czech; Expression of time in Russian; date, clock, etc. Vocabulary interference in the topic "family". 6. Unproductive verbs on ?. et's + alternation of stem consonants. Vocabulary interference - the topic "daily routine, hobbies, nature". 7. Non-productive verbs with full consonants; interference in the vocabulary of the topic "school and education"; 8. Interference in the field of unproductive verbs + command mode. Transposition of the verb form in Russian and English. Interference in the vocabulary of "housing", "nature", etc. 8. Interference in the field of verb conjugations, verb prefixes; the most frequent causes of interference. 9. Prepositions in Russian and in Czech. Absurd cases of Czech-Russian interference in a continuous text, 10. Czech and Russian in mutual comparison. Grammar and spelling (selected). Selected phonetic interference phenomena, sentence melody of Czech and Russian. 12. Selected interference phenomena in syntax in comparison with Czech;, syntactic interference errors in speakers' speech. Two-part stapled nominal sentences in comparison with Czech. Classification of monosyllabic sentences and brief characteristics of each group in the comparative Russian-Czech plan. Basic sentence articles, their expression and Russian-Czech differences. 13. Causes of interference, its prevention, analysis of errors with a focus on the Russian language curriculum for primary schools. Interference in oral and written speech (filling in questionnaires, etc.). Presentation of students' work.

learning outcomes
Students should understand the causes of interference, they should know the techniques for its prevention in the field of grammar and lexicology with focus on polysemy, homonymy and paronymy, mistakes analysis. They should also master the interference features analysis as well as deepen their knowledge in the field of Russian morphology in the comparative Russian-Czech plan (noun declination) and master new vocabulary in selected fields.
