Course content
1. The subject of stylistics. Basic stylistic terms. 2. Functional differences of the standard language. 3. Stylistic features of language units. 4. The stylistic system of the standard Russian in its development. 5. The definition of the text. Different approaches to the understanding of the text. 6. Categories of creating texts. 7. The structure of the text. 8. Intertextual relations and the intertextuality. 9. Definition of the discourse, approaches to its research. 10. The structure of the discourse. 11. Examples of the stylistic text analysis, the methodology of the discourse analysis. 12. The discourse in the relation to the style and text.
