Course content
1. DCJ as a science and in the system of sciences. Plan of study and personal development - mind map. Semester learning outcomes - self-evaluation card. Establishing an EPOSTL portfolio. 2. Changing understandings of the basic categories and terms of DCJ. 3. Factors of foreign language teaching - learning. Learning environment and assessment of teaching quality. Tools for reflecting on teaching - documentation and criterion referencing. Evacuation of school climate. Principles of teaching - learning CJ. Linguistic foundations of CJ/RJ teaching. 4. CJ/RJ teacher and his/her role. Teacher's portfolio. Reflection of the educational process, self-diagnosis. Methodology 3A in the reflection of the quality of RJ teaching on the basis of micro-outcomes and virtual hospitalizations. Framework of professional qualities of a foreign language teacher. 5. Typology of students in relation to CJ teaching. Autonomous learning. Psychological foundations of CJ teaching. Motivation. Methods of learner assessment. Providing feedback to pupils and obtaining feedback from pupils. 6. Strategies for learning CJ. Key competencies for learning in CJ teaching. Summative and formative assessment in CJ teaching. Kirkpatrick's model of assessment in CJ teaching. Principles of mother tongue and foreign language acquisition. Mid-semester evaluation - suggestion of corrections, questionnaire, portfolio, evaluation card. 7. Russian as a second (third) foreign language. The idea of multilingualism and language policy of the state (macro-determinants of foreign language teaching). From RVP to ŠVP. Assessment component of RVP - learning outcomes, standards. 8. Phases of learning and mastering CJ. Initial phase in teaching RJ - motivation, principles, working with preconceptions. SERRJ and EJP as self-reflective tools - introduction. 9. Development of DCJ methods 1. Working with standard, error and testing in individual methods. 10. Development of DCJ 2 methods. Evaluating the objectives and effectiveness of each method. 11. Current trends and alternative methods in the teaching of CJ. Personal development in the teaching of CJ. Risks of assessment. 12. Workshop with a practising teacher. Evaluation of self-evaluation card and portfolio. Feedback on teaching the subject - evaluation questionnaire.
