Course content
|
1.Morphology-basic concepts, expression of grammatical meaning; word types and their problems (criteria of word classification in Russian language); morpheme and morphemic analysis of words. 2. Introduction to the problems of word formation in Russian - basic ways of word formation (morphological way and its subtypes). Morphematic structure of a word. Related words. Derived and derivational stem. Meaning of prefixes and suffixes. 3. Noun and its lexical-grammatical characteristics. Semantic classification of nouns; the genus of nouns in comparison with Czech. 4. Nouns in the genus of nouns; variations in the genus, nouns that do not inflect and nouns with both genders; the category of lifespan. 5. Categories of countability and number of nouns. Use of singular and plural nouns in comparison with the Czech language; singularia tantum, pluralia tantum, peculiarities of plural formation in Russian. 6.Pronunciation of nouns. Basic endings, variants of endings. I., II. and III. inflection, accent types. Inflection of multiplicative nouns. Non-productive types of inflection. Formation of nouns. Compound words. Abbreviations. 7. Adjectives and their word-species characteristics. Semantic classification of quality, relational, possessive adjectives. Adjectives' declension, categories of gender, life, number and fall of adjectives. 8.Adjective gradations forming analytic and synthetic forms of comparative and superlative and their use in comparison with Czech. Elative. Formation and use of nominal forms. Substantives. Formation and spelling of adjectives. 9. Verb and verb categories; transitive, intransitive verbs. Categories of person and number in comparison with the Czech language. Impersonal verbs. Verb tenses (1st and 2nd tenses, alternation of stem consonants, etc.). 10. Reversible verbs. Categories of verb gender. Productive and non-productive verb classes and groups. 11. Verb tense - tense pairs, formation of verb tense. Two-faced verbs, peculiarities in the use of verbal sight in comparison with the Czech language (repeated action; expression of advice, warning, verbal sight after a negative). 12. Categories of verb tense. Verbs of motion. 13. Categories of verbal manner. Timing of non-productive verbs (selectively).
