Course content
1. Bachelor thesis as a project. Theses and hypotheses in academic work. Formulation of the problem. 2. Presentation of the project - bachelor thesis. Establishing a timetable, organization of the project of the bachelor thesis. 3. General information on the structure of the bachelor thesis. 4. Standards for the formal layout of the thesis, quotations, references, footnotes. 5. The inclusion of the attachments and images into the text. The overview of typical content and formal errors in scholarly work. Examples of model bachelor thesis. 6. Searching and analysis of scientific literature, synthesis of current knowledge, online sources. 7. Selection of appropriate research methods to meet the targets or to test hypotheses. 8. The rules of professional style. 9. Standards for Conclusion and Summary of the bachelor thesis. 10. Presentation of continuous research results. 11. Model defense of the bachelor thesis. 12. Discussion of problematic issues.
