Course content
1.An introduction to the problematic stylictics of Russian language. Elementary terminology. 2.Adequatness and accuracy of choice of language 3.An introduction to the problematic of function styles ? classification and differences. 4.Stratification of national language ? literary and non-literary language. Academic style and its features. 5.Choice of words, word collocations, sentence constructions in academic style. 6.Academic style texts - annotation, abstract. 7.Academic style ? paper, report, review. 8.Academic style ? seminar paper (bachelor work) 9.Error deletion in word collocations. 10.Choice of words, word collocations, sentence constructions in administrative style. 11.Administrative style texts ? missive, letter of advice, invitation. 12.Administrative style texts ? memo, record, judgement. 13.The problematic of translation of particular texts.
