Course content
The course focuses on current trends and issues in 21st century education: 1. Cross cultural understanding and intercultural communicative competence 2. ICT skills and digital literacy 3. Creative thinking and problem solving strategies 4. Critical thinking skills 5. Collaboration and cooperation 6. Life and career skills 7. Autonomy 8. Life long learning 9. application of TBL, SCI and SCA approaches in linguodidactics 10. self-evaluation and introspective methods in foreign language teaching (language learning history, didactic diary, portfolio) 11. other current educational approaches and contexts according to current developments in the field, needs and interests of the student

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report in a foreign language) (10-15) - 15 hours per semester
  • Preparation for formative assessments (2-20) - 10 hours per semester
