Course content
1. Acquisition of basic principles of ethnographic research in organizations 2. Symbolism and organizational ethnography 3. Postmodern ethnography 4. Autoethnography 5.-6. Standard Theories and Critical Theories in Organizational Ethnography 7. Ethnography of hospitals and health organizations 8. Prison ethnography 9. Ethnography of international corporations and organizations 10. Ethnography of schools 11. Ethnography of religious groups 12. Ethics in ethnographic research

interpret different ethnographic approaches and their impact on different versions of ethnography of organizations
characterize different types of conflicts between ethnographic approaches when studying organizations
tenumerate and characterize key studies using ethnographic methods when studying organizations

classify different types of methodological nuances using ethnographic methods (negotiating of entry into the organization under examination), training specific methods (ethnographic interview and / attendance / observation), writing field notes, field and research diary, solving ethical questions (environment and informants anonymization, code of ethics, etc.), analysis procedure (coding), ...)
independently demonstrate particular conflicting approaches when applying the different versions of ethnographic methods to the study of organizations
critically evaluate ethnographic methods independently
choose a suitable theoretical-methodological approach in applying the ethnographic method to study organizations
