Course content
1. Paradigmas and perspectives: epistemology of qualitative research 2. Steps in qualitative research (the formulation of qualitative research questions, literature review, a qualitative research design etc.) 3. Ethnography 4. Grounded theory 5. qualitative case studies and other approches (conversation analysis, discourse analysis etc.) 6. Participant observation 7. Qualitative interviews (ethnographic, semi-structured etc.) 8. Narrative approach and life stories 9. Focus Groups 10. Documents in qualitative research (fieldnotes, dieries and letters etc.) 11. Principles of analysing qualitative data ((reduction, exposition, and data complication; data organization and their coding) 12. Ethical aspects and principles in qualitative research (codes of ethics, informants' protection, anonymization etc.)
