1. There is a general theory of society or what society is 2. Theoretical reflections on the form of society in antiquity and the Middle Ages 3. Concepts about the organization of society in modern times 4. Nominalistic vs. realistic theories of society 5. Legacy vs. traditional dichotomy modern society 6. The most important reflexive concepts of modern and postmodern society: capitalist society and its transformations 7. The most important reflexive concepts of modern and postmodern society: industrial society 8. The most important reflexive concepts of modern and postmodern society: mass and consumer society 9. The most important reflexive concepts of modern and postmodern society: risky society 10. The most important reflexive concepts of modern and postmodern society: an aesthetized society and a society of indifference and indifference 11. Society as a product of the welfare state 12. Civil society and its forms 13. What is the direction of Western societies
