Course content
The KTO/AVP course deals with the automation of the production process especially in the field of machine tools. The course includes manual creation of NC program. 1. Basic concepts, meaning and effects of automation 2. Cam automation systems, automation with mechanical, pneumatical a hydraulical stops 3. Copy systems, program control of production machines 4. Numerical control of machine tools, division of control systems, Basic functional blocks of control systems 5. Operation of individual functional blocks, measuring of movement 6. Programming of NC machine operation, basics of digital technology, codes used 7. Manual programming of NC machines 8. Adaptive control of production processes, 9. Digitalization 10. IVU, PVS, machining centers, unattended machines and workstations
