Course content
Students will learn about basic manufacturing technologies, NC technologies. They will also be given an overview of NC programming and students will be introduced to some examples of the use of NC machining in design. Students will also learn about CA techniques used in engineering and reverse engineering methods. The program of lectures: 1st Introduction. The basic production technology 2nd NC technology 3rd Overview of NC Programming 4th CA techniques in the design 5th Overview of the CA method 6th Modeling techniques - edge modeler, examples 7th Modeling techniques - surface modeler, modeler volume, examples 8th NC-technology method of creating NC program, examples 9th Postprocessing 10th Transmission Formats 11th Reverse engineering 12th Rapid prototyping 13th Some examples of use in the design of NC machining Exercise program: 1 Description of control system SINUMERIK 810T / M Description and demonstration program for the creation of teaching lathe EMCO PC TURN 120th 2 Description of the development and demonstration program for teaching milling machine EMCO PC MILL 100, programming technology. HW 3, the building program, geometry, turning, HW - Milling 4 Practical machining - turning, milling 5 Practical machining - turning, milling 6 CAD / CAM system CATIA (CIMATRON IT) - basics of control, sample design, technology, simulation and creation of NC data. 7 Carrier formats, postprocessing, production of the NC program in CAD / CAM system 8 Reverse engineerig - sensing model 9 Reverse engineerig - processing model, creation of NC technology model 10-13 Individual work on solving specific problems.
