Course content
The course extends students' knowledge in the areas of NC programming. It focuses mainly on the use of touch probes on machine tools or on methods of adaptive control of the cutting process. Students will also practice CAD/CAM programming, especially in the area of programming combined turning and milling operations and channel synchronization on multi-channel machines. - work on turning-milling centres, channel synchronisation - use of probes on NC machines - in-process measurement and its use in NC programming - adaptive methods of machining process control - HW optimisation - adaptive methods of machining process control - SW optimisation - use of collaborative robot for workpiece manipulation

  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 20 hours per semester
