Course content
The course provides students with knowledge of modern manufacturing technologies with an emphasis on their environmental aspects and sustainability. 1. Introduction to environmental manufacturing technologies 2. Overview of the production of semi-finished products 3. Introduction to additive technologies 4. Rotating parts manufacturing technology 5. Non-rotating parts manufacturing technology 6. Hole manufacturing technology 7. Other and unconventional production methods 8. Introduction to metrology 9. Metrology in manufacturing 10. Introduction to work rationalisation 11. Environmental technology as part of the environment 12. Quality requirements in production with regard to the environment 13. Course summary
