Course content
- Introduction to physical health education - the meaning and content of the course. The importance of physical activity for the health of the individual. Anatomical and neurophysiological principal of upright posture. - Individually optimal posture - characteristics, principles, importance, methods of evaluation - diagnosis of postural functions from the perspective of TV and physiotherapy. - Deep stabilizing system of the spine, neurophysiological patterns of motor control. - Rating posture by Jaros - Lomiček, diagnostic system DTP1 (static component of postural function). - Evaluation of muscle imbalances and moving stereotypes (dynamic component of postural function). - Muscle imbalance in the thoracic region (upper crossed syndrome) and in the pelvic area (the lower crossed syndrome) - analysis of basic causes (principle of equalization, indications and contraindications). - Poor posture - analysis underlying causes (principle of compensation, indications and contraindications). - Orthopedic defects of the spine, compensation exercises. Didactic aspects of teaching health unit PE. - Weakening lower limbs - hips, bad knees position, flat feet - analysis underlying causes (principle of compensation, appropriate and contraindicated exercises). - Weakening of the respiratory and cardiovascular system (principle of appropriate physical activity, indications and contraindications). - Metabolic syndrome and its aspects (the principle of compensation, indications and contraindications). - Weakening of the digestive and excretory systems. Sensory and nerve weakening. Respiratory, spinal and relaxation exercises. - Gynecological weakening, exercises during pregnancy and the postpartum period (exercises according to Mojzisova, activation of the pelvic floor).

  • Contact hours - 39 hours per semester
  • Preparation for formative assessments (2-20) - 6 hours per semester

to explain the patterns of motor control (KFE/ANAM, KFE/FYZI)

to apply theoretical knowledge from the field of anatomy, physiology, elementary gymnastics to a training unit with a health focus
to determine the correct and wrong execution of the individual exercises and appropriately include these exercises into the parts of the PE exercise unit

to assess the indication and contraindication of the movement program for the weakenings of musculoskeletal system or the internal weakenings
to clarify the issue of prevention and correction of civilization diseases
to assess the suitability of the sports load on an individual's organism
to determine the negative effects of hypokinesis on an individual's musculoskeletal system

to apply expertise in the preparation of targeted compensatory movement intervention in the school and physical education process
to propose appropriate movement activity for the primary and secondary prevention of civilization diseases
to perform and describe the individual compensatory exercises (mobilization, strengthening, stretching, relaxation, breathing) with conscious control, proper breathing and appropriate motivation for the target group of exercisers
to create and lead an exercise unit of health-regenerative physical education without and with hand apparatus
