Course content
|
1. Definition of basic concepts from the theory of computers. Relation of Theory of computers and Finite automata and formal languages. 2. Color models and spaces; color depth in computer graphics. HDR images. 3. Specific usage of spreadsheets and VBA, introduction into numerical methods and statistical computations. 4. Introduction into vector and bitmap graphics, multimedia and hypermedia. 5. File formats: graphics, audio, animation, video, etc. 6. Introduction into processing of the bitmap images, especially digital photography. 7. Introduction into processing of digital video. 8. Introduction into processing of statics vector images and vector animations. 9. Introduction into processing of sounds. Basic of the Assembler. Significance of the assembler in the present. 10. Computers with parallel processing of data. Distributed systems. Computers network. Cooperating processes. Semaphores and their use. 11. Performance, security and reliability of computer systems. 12 Text to speech systems (TTS) and Voice to speech systems (V2T). 13. Authoring systems. ProAuthor.
