Course content
|
An overview of web technologies that can be used to create your own websites. Website structure. HTML5, its elements and frameworks. Audio, video, canvas and animation. Basic familiarization with editorial systems, advantages, disadvantages and possibilities of their deployment in the school environment. Web design, functionality and design of websites in a school environment. Use of cascading styles. Responsive design. Administration of editorial systems, access rights, templates and extensions. Using a server-side scripting language to get, edit and display data, PHP basics, connecting to databases. Use of client-side scripting and frameworks, dynamic website creation, advantages and disadvantages. XML, SOAP and REST services. Domains, DNS and web hosting. Introduction to the issue of creating custom extensions to the editorial system. Website validity and accessibility. Legislation with regard to the school environment.
