Course content
|
The aim of the excursion Art Tour I is to introduce students to the most significant domestic permanent exposition of the art of the Czech Middle Ages at the Monastery of St. Agnes of the National Gallery. The mission of the excursion is to acquaint students with the artworks studied in HU1 and HU2 and to deepen their knowledge of the subject through immediate experience of artwork. Another goal of equal important is to introduce students to contemporary ways of museum presentation of ancient art, including the current methodology of educational activities for children and the general public currently offered by the National Gallery Prague.
