Course content
The SEP of art education is based on the exposition of visual arts and other visual representations as cognitive and communicative means of specific nature given by their aesthetic aspect. The student will learn about the methodology of using the functions of visual means in the art field, as well as about the methodology of systematic use of creativity in education. 1. Visual arts and the world of visual culture at basic and secondary schools. 2. The transformation of ways of education and the possibilities of application of visual arts in the general education through the development of creativity. 3. The methodology of specific cognitive function of visual art in education. Reflexion and interaction in perception. 4. Sensual, psychosomatic and social level of the reception of visual expression. 5. Methodology of the application of communicative function of visual art in education. 6. Forms of depiction in the ontogenesis of child´s visual expression and its connection to the reflexion of contemporary visual culture. 8. Principles of application of visual expression in education as a form of building structural connections. 9. Modernist art in education (deconstruction of the object, structural relations, isolation of the object in dadaism and surrealism). 10. Modernist visual expression in education (activation of a personal approach). 11. Postmodern visual expression in education (individual project - "the end of the art century", pluralist projects of social groups).

popsat historický vývoj výtvarné výchovy u nás i ve světě v kontextu dějinného vývoje české vzdělávací soustavy;
objasnit provázanost jednotlivých etap vývoje s ohledem na chronologické a kontextové souvislosti;
porovnat vývoj oboru s problematikou příbuzných disciplín u nás i v zahraničí;
Skills
nahlížet, posuzovat a porovnávat historické oborové dokumenty;
analyzovat současné koncepce výtvarné výchovy, resp. výchovy umění u nás s ohledem na soudobé trendy světového vývoje oboru;
navrhovat vzdělávací programy v rámci školy a podstoupit je poučené kritické reflexi a evaluaci s ohledem na širší souvislosti vývoje;
analyzovat vlastní pojetí výuky a obhajovat ho v kontextu výsledků dosažených v oboru;
