Course content
Students solve tasks in the field of ceramics and glass art techniques. It performs a selection of techniques with regard to their application in art education in secondary education. The solution of the tasks is connected with the study of professional literature and the search for inspirational ideas in the creation of important creators. In the initial stage of the solution is applied drawing and painting description of art concepts. Following the acquired practical experience, the student will propose three creative tasks for the chosen subject, the year and the type of school, taking into account all educational circumstances. Seminar focus during the semester: 1. Techniques in contemporary ceramic and glass production and their educational possibilities. 2. Curricular contents of art-oriented subjects at secondary schools, experience, conditions for application of the above-mentioned techniques in schools. 3. Selection of techniques, choice of forms and themes, initial design. 4-12. Implementation of tasks. 13. Knowledge test, presentation of the portfolio (design of school tasks, reflection, products).
