Course content
The focus of the subject lies in the imagination and finding of original solutions, the teaching is mainly directed to experiments with traditional materials. Students improve their manual skills, learn the sense of material and its expression. At the beginning of the search for the solution of the assigned tasks is a discussion with the teacher, which is always preceded by a research reflecting the actual solution of the task or possibly some historical inspiration. 1. Introduction to the content and assignment of a separate task 2. Sketch material, study of the chosen nature in the drawing and clay 3. Modeling the selected natural shape (magnification in scale) 4. Stylization of the same shape - built ceramics 5. Stylization of the same shape - built ceramics (completion) 6. Modeling ceramic relief 7. Trimmed ceramic relief geometrical stylization 8. Ceramic object based on previous experience - built ceramics with application of elements made on the pottery circle 9. Ceramic object based on previous experience - built ceramics with application of elements made on the potter's circle A vase, a bowl or a bowl on the potter's circle 11. Glazing 12. Glazing 13. Final evaluation

to describe the relationship of the detail to the whole in the ceramic form;
