1. Dynamics of the relationship between qualitative and quantitative components of research (theoretical basis of both methodologies, their characteristics and applied strategies) 2. Basic research methods in pedagogy (interview, observation, action research, methodology 3A) 3. Analytical approach to research (didactic fact, hypothesis, conclusion, deduction, induction and abductive approach to research) 4. Data categorization methods (grounded theory, open, axial and selective coding, properties and dimensions of a category) 5. Triangulation, validity and ethics (triangulation of researchers, validity and reliability, ethical issues of research)
