Course content
Content of the subject is the familiar with various approaches and trends and concepts of history and contemporary design and applied works for inspiration of own grasp of specific art problem with regard to transformation into pedagogical practice. 1. Introduction related to the general familiarization with the history and the present creation and design. Submission of a semester topic 2. - 4. Etudes stimulating sense and feel for material, shape and proportion. Assignment the paper "My Favorite Object" 5. Presentation of the papers "My favorite subject" 6 -7. Partial presentations and discussions of elaborate concepts 8.- 10. Visit the exhibition and discussion, etud developing the elaborate artistic problem of the student´s project, or reminiscent of the concept of a particular artist - designer from the field of applied creation and design 11-12. Completion of art projects, correction, presentation before completion 13. Final evaluation of the work in the semester, discussion

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 26 hours per semester
  • Attendance on a field trip (number of real hours - maximum 8h/day) - 6 hours per semester
  • Contact hours - 20 hours per semester

Knowledge
to name in general the various types of crafts, characterize the history and the present design;
to name some concrete authors from history of design and contemporary design;
to describe the possibilities of transforming the area of spatial creation into pedagogical creation.
