Course content
Teaching will take the form of collective discussions and individual consultations and final product installation as a result of the semester formation and reflection on the solution of assigned tasks. In addition to craftsmanship and moment of surprise, emphasis will be placed on the location of work in the context of time. The design in the material will be further elaborated into drawing collections. Teaching is intended both for the practical and the theoretical level for students who are not expected to have passed a secondary school or higher education degree in the field of arts and crafts, but who will find inspiration in this field for developing creative thinking with pedagogical overlap. 1. Introduction to the subject, organization of the semester, setting of the terms of the continuous consultations and requirements for the credit 2. Entrance Lecture - The Role of Design in Contemporary Art 3. Individual consultation on the concept of the first project. Discussion and clarification of the solution 4. - 5. Realization of sketch material of the first project 6. - 8. Work on the implementation of the first task and ongoing consultations on project proposals two and three 9. Consultation of the final design of the projects envisaged and their implementation 10. - 11. Finalization of the project two and three 12. Portfolio and presentation work 13. - Submitting all the documentation and all three copyright projects

to define the fundamental beliefs of applied art in the world and in our country;
to describe and illustrate the historical context of designing as a separate subject;
to characterize inspirational sources and influences (personalities, schools, products) for their creation.

to exploit the expressive possibilities of new media;

to clarify professional terminology in the field of applied art;
to clarify some facts from the visual art of the 2nd half of the 20th century with an emphasis on design;
to explain some necessary technological procedures.

to compose a garment for a figure with proportional and functional patterns;
to implement their own project; to present their own work in the exhibition space.
